Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool seeks a dynamic RN to provide care across diverse units in a PRN role. You will rotate through Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, Behavioral Health, Oncology, and more, delivering patient‑centered care with a focus on safety and collaboration.

Expect flexible scheduling with 12‑hour or 8‑hour shifts and meaningful shift differentials. Mercy supports growth, benefits from day one, and a mission‑driven team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist and squat.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple units as part of the float pool.
• Coordinate with care teams while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate professional accountability and apply the nursing process.
• Assist in assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Contribute to Mercy Service Standards on every shift.
