Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a compassionate Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse for our Pinellas and Hillsborough county locations. This role provides inpatient hospice care, coordinates patient/family needs, and supports symptom management with a team of LPNs and aides.
A Florida RN license and bedside experience are required. The RN will assess needs, educate families, and collaborate with the Care Center Manager to deliver Full Life Care.

The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides. Schedule: Day shift 8a-8p every other weekend Since 1977, Suncoast Hospice has been honored to serve our neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end-of-life care. is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit. provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment. The RN reports to Patient/Family Care Coordinator/Care Center Manager. Required to float if needed.
