Suncoast Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse to join our inpatient Care Centers in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. You will provide compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families, coordinate care, assess needs, manage symptoms, and educate families.
The role requires a minimum of 1 year bedside nursing, FL RN license, valid FL driver’s license, and flexibility to float.

The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides.
Schedule: Night shift 8p-8a every other weekend.

is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit. provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment. Required to float if needed.
