Evening/weekend shifts, 40 hours weekly, includes on-call coordination with the care team. Florida RN license, CPR certification, and field mobility are required for this role.
Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated RN - Evening/Weekend Care to join the Empath team. The RN provides compassionate hospice care to patients with terminal illnesses and supports their families by assessing needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, and providing education.
Schedule: 40 hours a week, two weekday shifts: 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM; Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. South Pinellas

As part of Empath Health, we help those living with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning, while supporting their families and caregivers with guidance and care every step of the way.
Under physician's orders, the nurse is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventative and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit. Utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit. Demonstrates the ability to administer, monitor and document medications as prescribed by attending physician. Following a patient’s death, assists with closure contact and support in collaboration with IDT.
