Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Float Pool RN with a weekend option to provide compassionate patient care across ED, ICU, TCU, PCU and medical-surgical units. This role follows the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and emphasizes professional accountability and collaboration with other departments.

Educated nurses with ADN, Diploma, or BSN and an active RN license (state or compact) are eligible. BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality; uphold Mercy Service Standards.
• Perform duties within nursing scope and act with accountability.
