Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a Float Pool RN - Weekend Option to join our team. This 36-hour per week, day-shift position offers sign-on bonuses of $5,000 for graduates and $10,000 for experienced nurses.

You may float to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, and Acute Rehab based on experience. Educational qualifications include an RN credential (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required and must meet state board requirements; compact licensure accepted.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Protect patient rights and confidentiality.
• Work within nursing scope and Mercy Service Standards.
