Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in Med/Surg, Telemetry and PCU settings, joining a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Float Pool Differential is available. You will assess and manage patient care, educate patients, and maintain accurate records while following physician orders.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license or compact licensure with active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS required (grace periods apply).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
