Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an RN for the Med-Surg Float Pool at the Hilton Head/Coastal Carolina facilities. This full-time night position runs 7:00pm–7:00am with a 36-hour schedule and every-other weekend, including holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include safe, patient-centered nursing care per individualized care plans, supervising unlicensed staff, and reporting to the charge nurse. Licensure and BLS required; ACLS and PALS as specified.

Qualifications

• SC nursing license or compact-state licensure is required.
• Minimum 6 months licensed nursing practice in Med-Surg/Acute Care.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer; PALS within 6 months for ED rotation.
• CPI required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care per individualized care plans.
• Supervise unlicensed personnel delivering care.
• Report to the charge nurse on assigned shift.
• Maintain adherence to safety and hospital policies.
