Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking a part-time Staff Registered Nurse in Ohio to deliver patient care guided by the Nursing Process, collaborating with providers and the care team. You will assess and treat patients, administer medications, and educate families while documenting care to ensure quality outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license, current BLS/CPR, and 18 months of relevant clinical experience; online competency tests with 80% or greater are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 18 months of recent clinical experience within the specialty area.
• Completion of online competencies with 80% or greater.
• ACLS/PALS/ER ACLS/Perinatal- EFM/NRP certifications may be required.
• Proficiency with an EMR for charting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate a patient group using evidence-based practice and assist with examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications per organizational guidelines and standards.
• Assist in emergencies under provider direction.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Coordinate care and supervise other care team members when appropriate.
