Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks Day and Night Staff Registered Nurses for part-time shifts. You will deliver patient care within the Nursing Process, collaborating with a provider-led team to meet physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, assisting in procedures, educating patients and families, documenting care, and supervising other care team members in accordance with policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• 18 months of recent clinical experience.
• ACLS preferred; Critical Care ACLS required; ER ACLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients; assist with assessments, examinations and treatments; set up procedures.
• Administer medications under provider direction according to policies and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations under provider direction.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, diagnoses, and care.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per standards.
