Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. The role covers ICU, CCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg, with nights shifts and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM hours.

Essential duties include cardiac monitoring, administering medications, IV care, and patient education on post-discharge plans and lifestyle changes to reduce readmission risk.

Qualifications

• 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current valid State RN license.
• BLS certificate on hire; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac monitoring and telemetric interpretation; report arrhythmias.
• Manage patients with infections, diabetes, post-op recovery, and chronic conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and conduct thorough physical assessments.
• Administer cardiac medications and pain management; monitor for interactions.
• Educate patients on heart-healthy lifestyles and discharge care.
