Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide continuous quality patient care across multiple UVA Health facilities. The RN will float to different units and campuses, ensuring patient needs are met by a versatile, skilled team.

Requirements include 2 years in CCU/ED, a BSN preferred, and current compact RN licensure. BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/NVCI are required. On-site in Manassas, VA with sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Team 1 requires 2 years in CCU/ED; Team 2 requires 1 year med-surg/telemetry; Team 3 requires 2 years in L&D/NICU.
• Current compact RN licensure in applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and NVCI required.
• Chemo Certification and Triage Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous quality patient care across UVA Health facilities as part of the Float Pool.
• Float to all facilities and units to meet patient care needs.
• Assist in critical situations including CPR and use of medical equipment.
• Document care and communicate plans to the interdisciplinary team.
