Job summary

University of Virginia is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Floater for Women’s Services. The RN will support continuous quality patient care across varied units as part of the Float Pool, rotating to CCU, Inpatient Acute, and Women’s Services as needed.

A BSN is preferred and prior critical care or ED experience is required depending on the team. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and requires current compact RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NVCI

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree preferred - BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous quality patient care across multiple units as a Float Pool RN.
• Be part of a resource team assigned to varying units during shifts to meet patient care needs.
• Work in three RN teams: CCU, Inpatient Acute, and Women’s Services, per unit requirements.
