Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience within area of desired practice
• Experience using EPIC/MEDITECH software systems preferred
• Licensed as Registered Nurse in Illinois

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on assigned unit following the nursing process
• Incorporate discharge planning into patient care plan and coordinate referrals
• Implement physician and nursing orders safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs
• Assist and educate patients and families, ensuring privacy and dignity
• Maintain appropriate patient and staff safety and quality standards
