Qualifications
- RN with hospital experience and active Illinois license.
- BLS certification required within 30 days; ACLS within 1 year.
- Nursing education and ongoing competency maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Performs unit-specific nursing duties with up-to-date documentation in EMR.
- Assess and plan care for patients admitted to multiple inpatient units.
- Communicate with care teams; participate in handoffs and care coordination.
- Support safety, dignity, and family involvement in care plans.
- Float to Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, and other units as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to changes in patient status.
