Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking an RN for the Clinical Resource Unit (Float pool) to provide direct nursing care across inpatient units including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Progressive Care, Mental Health and Acute Rehab.

You will perform assessments, develop and adjust plans of care, administer medications, document in EMR, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Requires RN license in Illinois, BLS and ACLS within specified times.

Qualifications

• RN with hospital experience required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit-specific nursing responsibilities.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation for care plans.
• Assesses patient needs and develops care plans.
• Delivers direct nursing care across multiple units.
