Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a flexible Float Pool Nurse to provide direct patient care across units within the hospital. The Registered Nurse must practice under the RN scope and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, updating documentation, and contributing to performance improvement efforts. A valid Tennessee RN license and current BLS are required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patients' care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
