Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for our Float Pool to provide direct patient care within the RN scope. You will communicate effectively, maintain safety, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and patient education as part of a multidisciplinary plan. TN RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 2+ years of nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Tennessee nursing licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patients' care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
