Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care across units. You will collaborate with physicians on patient condition changes and respond quickly to evolving treatment needs.

Flexibility to float to all units is required. Qualified candidates hold an active NV nursing license with BLS and ACLS certifications and have at least two years of acute care experience.

• Minimum of two years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care with compassion and respect.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition.
• Perform bedside assessments and document findings.
• Triage and respond to changes in patient status per policy.
• Float to all units as needed and maintain competency across departments.
