MiraVista Behavioral Health Center in Holyoke, MA is hiring a Mental Health Technician/CNA for its float pool, working 36 hours across three 12-hour night shifts. You will provide direct patient care, monitor well-being, conduct safety checks, and support families within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires past experience with geriatric or behavioral health patients and flexibility to float between units.

Formación

• High School Diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of PCT/PCA/CNA or medical assistant experience with geriatric/behavioral health patients.
• Experience with dementia, cognitive impairment, or emotional distress preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; maintain professional boundaries.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care across all inpatient behavioral health units.
• Float to all inpatient units daily based on census, acuity and staffing needs.
• Conduct patient observation and rounds.
• Assist with patient care following treatment plans.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Observe and monitor patient progress and report observations to staff.
• Develop therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
• Ensure safety and supervision of patient activities.
• Process admissions belongings and complete EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
