Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an LPN for a Nursing Float Pool role. This full-time position involves floating to facilities within the Center City, Southern or Western Zones, with M-F 8am-5pm and no weekends or holidays.

The pay range is $25.30–$37.95 per hour, with comprehensive benefits. You will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, assist with admissions/discharges, perform IV therapy and venipuncture, and contribute to care plans under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing required.
• Current LPN licensure required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.
• 3 years nursing experience in acute care or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with disability and chronic illness.
• Administer IV medications and manage IV therapy.
• Assist with admissions and discharges; rounds as needed.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens.
• Document observations and patient response; support care plans.
