Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking experienced CNAs to join our Regional Float Pool. You will provide bedside care across multiple hospital settings, with night shifts and self-scheduling options.

Requirements include an active WI CNA in good standing with 1+ year acute care experience and a GED/HSED or high school diploma. BLS must be obtained within 45 days of hire. Location coverage includes several Northeastern Wisconsin hospitals.

Qualifications

• Active WI CNA in good standing with 1+ year acute/hospital experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days.
• GED/HSED or high school diploma (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including activities of daily living.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other patient data.
• Record accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Maintain nursing station and stock and respond to patient call lights promptly.
• Assist with specimen collection and basic nursing tasks as directed.
