Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care across multiple hospital units in Wisconsin. You will assist RNs with daily activities, monitor patient status, and help with transfers and admissions.

Qualifications

• Active WI CNA in good standing
• 1+ year acute/hospital experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to set priorities and stay organized
• Certification Addendum applies per hospital policy

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Documents vital signs and intake/output in EMR
• Performs rounding and communicates patient needs to RN
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes
• Collects specimens and ensures proper labeling
• Inventory management for nursing area and maintains equipment and supplies
• Cares for skin integrity and uses assistive devices as needed
• May assist with IV removal, post mortem care, and bladder scans as directed by RN
• Adheres to infection prevention policies and uses PPE
• Delivers age-appropriate care and follows department policies
