Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Pickerington, OH and surrounding areas. The role involves phlebotomy across multiple sites, patient interaction, data entry, and travel to additional locations.

You will contribute to high-quality specimen collection and patient care in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a phlebotomy certificate or equivalent training, with 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
