Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Columbus area team, serving Columbus and surrounding sites north to Mansfield.

You will perform venipuncture across age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, enter patient data accurately, and travel between sites as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; valid driver's license and ability to travel. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
