Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at multiple Chicago area sites in IL, including Chicago, Orland Park, Joliet, and surrounding locations. This role offers exposure to diverse clinics, patients of all ages, and frequent site-to-site travel.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service. You will perform blood draws, data entry, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining accurate logs and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
