Labcorp in Chicago, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist Floater to join our team. This role covers multiple sites, performing blood collection and handling specimens across ages, with a 40-hour workweek.

You will travel to various labs, provide patient service, and support data entry and billing. The position includes a pay range of $17.75-$24.50 per hour and incentives; a medical benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
