Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. This role covers multiple sites in Waukegan, Gurnee, Round Lake Beach, Zion, North Chicago, and Deerfield.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, accurate data entry, billing support, and maintaining logs. Travel to additional sites required; strong customer service and ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or 3 months experience required.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
