Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Bricktown, NJ, covering Ocean County. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with hours varying 7:00am–7:00pm and rotating Saturdays, performing venipuncture, specimen processing, and patient care across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; a certification or training accreditation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
