Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float in Bricktown, NJ. This role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collecting specimens for drug screens and tests, and entering patient data accurately.

You will also assist with billing, prepare specimens for testing, and support travel between sites. The position emphasizes strong customer service, independent work, and teamwork, with requirements including a high school diploma, phlebotomy experience or certification,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Be at least 21 years’ old.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
