Job summary

Labcorp in Belleville, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Essex County. The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule with varying hours between 7:00am and 7:00pm and rotating weekend work.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods across all ages, enter patient data accurately, and assist with billing and specimen processing. A valid phlebotomy certification or approved training is required, along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with 1+ year phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for tests and document patient information accurately.
• Assist with processing and billing as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
