Job summary

Labcorp in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques across ages, travel to multiple sites, and provide timely patient service.

This role offers exposure to varied clinics and rapid skills growth. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training are required, with preferred 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
