Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support Brooklyn and Staten Island locations in NY. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and data entry across multiple sites with travel as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training or certification (or 3+ months experience). A strong emphasis is on accurate data entry, customer service, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and support at multiple sites.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
