Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Floater Phlebotomist to join our Florence, AL team. Work schedule varies with a Monday–Friday pattern and rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, process specimens, enter data, and assist at multiple sites with a focus on patient service.

This role requires vaccination against COVID-19 or approved accommodation. Current responsibilities emphasize accuracy, safety, and flexible travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
