Job summary

Labcorp in Florence, AL is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. The role supports patients across sites with blood collection, specimen handling, and data entry. Schedule: Monday–Friday, hours range 6:00am–6:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience (2+ years preferred). Phlebotomy certification or accredited training is required if no work experience. Benefits and incentive pay are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training program required if no work experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
