Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Dothan AL, offering exposure across multiple clinics and patient populations. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for drug screens, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years phlebotomy experience, with travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification is preferred, and you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for medical/religious accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
