Job summary

Labcorp in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections across multiple sites for patients of all ages. You will travel to additional sites as needed, covering shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm with potential overtime and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, billing processing, specimen preparation, and maintaining logs while delivering exceptional patient service. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric to geriatric patient ages and prior LabCorp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients; assist with clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites; reliable transportation required.
