Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist Full Time to join our Bloomington, MN team. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and travel between sites to support patient testing.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or certification, and at least 9 months of phlebotomy experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
