Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Bloomington, MN team. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, data entry, and providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with varying hours and rotating Saturdays; overtime may be required. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification (or training) are preferred, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred.
• 9+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass color blindness test and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients; travel to additional sites as needed.
