Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Rockville, MD team, traveling to multiple sites to perform blood collections and provide patient care across settings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service. Travel to additional sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
