Labcorp is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Laurel, MD and surrounding areas. The role involves venipuncture and capillary draws across age groups, with travel to multiple sites and a schedule that includes weekdays and Saturdays as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or relevant training; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred. A sign-on bonus and incentives are available, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
