Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Illinois seeks a Float Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role focuses on dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties while serving multiple sites.

Hours are 20 per week, with potential to flex up. Base location is Maryville, IL, with coverage at Granite City, Belleville and Alton.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois.
• At least 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Ability to travel to sites in IL using own car and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Maintains inventory records and stock accuracy in the computer system.
• Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties and communicates professionally.
