Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy. The role involves dispensing prescriptions and essential clerical tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license required.
Willingness to travel to all Dallas–Fort Worth locations.
Access to reliable transportation and a valid US drivers license.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of the pharmacist.
Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
Process wholesaler medication orders and verify stock.
Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
Assist pharmacists in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
Perform clerical duties related to the department.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
