Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Float Pharmacy Technician to support Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy in Fairfax, VA. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location at 8221 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive, Fairfax, VA, with a 32-hour workweek (Mon–Fri, varied shifts). Requires VA license and 1+ year experience; bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia.
• 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state requirements with the Pharmacist.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
