Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join our team across multiple California locations, including Riverside, Pico Rivera, and Murrieta. The role blends front desk duties with clinical responsibilities, supporting a primary care physician to deliver exceptional patient care.

The position requires travel to various sites within the state, adaptability to different settings, and a flexible schedule to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification/registration preferred or required in states where required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, assist with procedures, and work with labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
