Job summary

Marathon Health seeks an experienced Medical Assistant for a float role covering NW Ohio locations including Archbold, Napoleon, Bryan, Defiance and Wauseon. This position requires travel to sites as needed, a versatile schedule, and close collaboration with primary care physicians to deliver patient care and an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and MA certification/registration where required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred/required where certification is required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, assist with procedures and labs as needed.
• Assist with medications and immunizations under Provider orders.
