Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to join our Findlay, OH team. This role covers multiple locations across the Findlay area, providing clinical support and front-desk duties. Flexibility to travel within the state is essential as shifts are assigned as needed.

The successful candidate will have MA experience, MA certification if required in your state, CPR/BLS, and willingness to work across clinics with a guest-focused patient experience. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred/required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review and gather relevant health information to inform the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document data per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate outcomes to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
