Job summary

Marathon Health, a leading advanced primary care provider, seeks a Float Medical Assistant to support multiple locations within Florida. The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience while traveling between sites.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS, and willingness to travel. Pay is $21–$25/hr with benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care preferred.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, assist with procedures and work with labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and other care coordination tasks.
