Job summary

Qualifications

• Proof of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• LPN license from Florida must be active and in good standing or EMT/Paramedic license is active.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification must be active and in good standing.
• CNA certification (if applicable) must be active.
• American Heart Association BLS must be active.
• Minimum 3 years MA experience; or 5 years MA exp with one of the listed licenses.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, route calls, and relay messages.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by provider.
• Immunize patients where applicable.
• Document changes in patient condition to clinicians.
• Maintain medical records and charting for appointments.
