Job summary

Solis Mammography in Houston is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray systems and perform mammography with precision. The role requires TX lic and ARRT Mammography certification (or eligibility) and completion of a two-year radiologic tech program, with MQSA/FDA CEU compliance.

You’ll contribute to patient-first care across multiple centers, supporting diagnostic procedures and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Medical Board License (TMB).
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with clinical documentation.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA 15 CEU every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Responsibilities

Work Hours

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
